- "The campus, it is always clean, safe, and of course beautiful. People refer to ALC as beingin the middle of nowhere, but I find being far from other communities as a benefit. It ensures our safety from the life of the big city and we are enclosed in the gorgeous mountains of the great Appalachia. There is nothing better than waking up to a sunset above the mountains in the morning. There are many sports and clubs to become envolved in and great places to hang out on campus, such as the student lounge."

I’ve had a fantastic experience here! The professors are incredibly supportive and truly care about their students’ success. The campus is beautiful, especially in the fall. My only minor complaint is that the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some buildings, but it hasn’t hindered my studies too much. Highly recommend!

I’ve been attending for a year now, and it’s been a life-changing experience! The faculty are not only knowledgeable but also very approachable. They genuinely care about your academic journey. I particularly enjoy the small class sizes, which allow for engaging discussions. The campus is lovely, although it could benefit from a few more benches for studying outside. Nevertheless, I’m thrilled to be part of this community!

I can't say enough good things about my time here! The one-on-one attention from professors is outstanding; they are always available during office hours and genuinely want to help you succeed. The campus offers a variety of extracurricular activities, from clubs to volunteer opportunities, so there’s something for everyone. One of my favorite aspects is the beautiful surroundings, which really enhance the overall atmosphere of learning. I also appreciate the dining options on campus, though I wish they had more variety on the weekends. The sense of community here is incredible, and I've made lifelong friends. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an engaging and supportive college!

As a transfer student, I was a bit nervous about fitting in, but this place has been a welcoming environment from day one. The orientation program was thorough and helped me connect with both faculty and peers. I love how involved the campus is with the local community. The library is well-stocked and a perfect place to study. The only thing I would love to see is more after-hours events for students to socialize. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for a close-knit college experience!
